Opening soon Two new sites.
http://www.candlecollection.net
This site will be a big variety of candles- not candles for sell, but different candle companies and designers. An information site about candles.
and then my favorite
http://www.homebusinessshoppingclub.com- this again is info rather than selling. It will be a variety of home business links with a small blurb about each company.
Advertising space is available on both sites.
They are not live yet and I will start advertising them when they open.
Watch for more details.

My favorite time of year.
Christmas is a time for family and friends.
Take a moment or 2 to think about all out troops that will be away from loved ones this year, think about those less fortunate than yourself.
While you are out shopping, remember the children that do not have a good Christmas- I do not mean toys.... Think of those that do not have a meal on the table or family around them. If you can, give to your local church, food pantry, womens shelter, or homeless shelter.
While most of us are struggling to make ends meet, Your one can of veggies or dollar store toy can make a difference in a small ones life.
I am making a difference this year- for each order placed from Sept 1st - Dec 1st, I will purchase a can of food or toy- these will be delivered to the Caring Place www.caringplacetx.org/ . Please visit their site- you can also make a donation on site.
Candle Majik is looking for new affiliates to help spread the word about our candles and our site. You can visit http://www.candlemajik.net
I have Christmas scents in and am already getting orders.

While I get the idea behind Twitter, Linked in, Facebook, Cafe Mom, Ning and all the other social networking sites.
Most people use these services to meet people, promote their business etc.. Whole adult entertainment is a big money maker- It is not for me.
I booted my own daughter off of my My Space because of her language and pics- Nudity and cussing is not professional . Well I guess if your whole network or group is on the adult subject then yea it is ok, but not on everyday professional site. Anyone following me that has what some would find offensive will be blocked. Anyone following vulgar sites example" I am a small woman need a man with a small dick"
I mean come on keep it in the bedroom and off of Twitter.....
I encourage everyone with stuff like that on their professional sites, blogs, etc.. to block it.
I will not visit sites nor buy from anything like that.
If I want adult info, there are a bunch of legit adult web sites that I can go to.
I do not want to see it all over the place.

How do you do it all????
Family, Home, Work, and YOU TIME???
Most of us have to learn to take you time....
Notice I said TAKE not make. Everyone can find a few for themselves, but they do not take that time- they instead choose to use that time on work, family, or home.
Home Business requires time and effort as does a happy healthy family and nice clean home.
Are you one of the moms that runs herself ragged trying to stay on top of them all?
Give yourself a break. Take at least one hour that is all about you. No computer, no phone, no cleaning, no kids, no husband. You do not even have to really leave the house- tell everyone I need a break and take that break- they will be ok without you! If you can not leave the house- Take a bubble bath- come on when was the last time you sat in a warm bath surrounded by bubbles???? Go for a walk, brush your pet, polish your nails, eat a meal without a child on your lap......
Now that you have had a break- plan regular breaks- Make a schedule and stick to it. You will be amazed how much that one hour break can revive and motivate you.
While you are making your break schedule, add on your whole work schedule. Seeing things on paper helps you keep to them. Do not let your business and strive for more business become your whole life.
Watch your patterns for one week. Document hours spent on work, hours spent with family, hours spent on cleaning, hours spent on you. At the end of the week total them up...
How are you spending your life?

Everyday I see people needing to make money.
Put your computer to work for you. Do you email people, are you a group member, Wahmaddicts, The Mom Pack, MUIB,Twitter, Facebook, Cafe Mom, My Space etc... Join an affiliate program. Place you link everywhere, get paid when people purchase.
It is not that simple- you have to keep your link out there. You can not post it one time and have people flock to it. Treat your affiliate business as any other business.
You can see several affiliate programs at www.claytoriv.webs.com
and I run an affiliate program at http://www.candlemajik.net
Pick your program or programs and work them.
You will not be flooded with funds, but with work you can pay some bills.
All of the programs and links on claytoriv.webs.com are approved legit businesses as is my Candle Majik LOL
Whatever company you pick- check it out very carefully.
Affiliate programs should be completely free- if someone tries to charge you a fee to market their products RUN!
If it is a rep program listed as an affiliate program, they may have a kit fee or sign up fee- I would stay away from them simply because I do not belive in charging anyone to sell my products. Read the fine print and or ask to see lehal agreement before you sign up for anything. Watch out for hidden fees, quotas etc...
If you have your own business and want to add to the product line, there are small companies that offer drop ship and wholesale account. A lot of the big companies want several hundred to join RUN! This should be free too.
My fav free web site is freewebs- very easy set up.

Most of us have seen this article all over the groups.
Today I met the author of that piece and not in a good way....
I saw the post about a year ago- the post stated that the poster had seen the article on a different group and was passing it on. I thought wow great article and I passed it on.
Somewhere along the way, her name was dropped and my name was listed as having given the web site owner the article.
Did I give her the article- nope do not even know her. Did I tell anyone that I had wrote that article- nope.Did I even have any knowledge that my name was on someones web site- nope, but there it is/ was.
Moral of this story- do not pass on anything to anyone that you do not know very well, you never know where it may end up.

A public apology and great job on that article- pat yourself on the back- if it were not so good it would not be flying around cyberspace.

You get 100's of emails daily bombarding you with information, offers, promises of $$$.
